Indexing. Do I really need to do this?

Last Updated: Jan 14, 2014 10:52AM GMT
Indexing as you record is a quick and easy way to help you work with your recordings in Audio Notetaker. We recommend that this is the very least you do whilst recording.

If you’re in a lecture or presentation all you have to do is index your recording every time a new slide is shown and when you come to add those slides into Audio Notetaker everything will line up!

Don’t worry if you forget, you can always split your recording after you have imported it into Audio Notetaker. Just click in the Audio where you need the section break and press ENTER.

If you’ve only got a limited amount of Index marks on your digital recorder, Audio Notetaker is there to help again;
You can import as many audio files as you want into Audio Notetaker (the bigger the files the longer it will take!). Audio Notetaker adds them to your working file in the order that they were recorded, just make sure you have set the time and date on your digital recorder.
