Reluctant Writers

Last Updated: Mar 17, 2014 11:01AM GMT

While reluctant writers are often articulate and brimming with ideas, it can be a struggle for either the pupil or teacher to capture these ideas and get them down on paper.

Audio Notetaker makes it easy for these pupils to work with audio, allowing the writer to freely express their ideas and develop the techniques necessary to kick-start the writing process. With Audio Notetaker, pupils can think, speak, listen, write and read back.

During this process, pupils are engaging with the audio in the same way as they would with text, developing the skills to eventually produce a written piece of work.

The software makes it easy to capture ideas quickly and provides easy-to-use tools to analyse, edit and organise them before committing to text. It provides an auditory and visual approach to communicating ideas.
