Reference Guide: 10.7 Accessibility

Last Updated: Jan 29, 2017 06:18PM GMT

The accessibility of Audio Notetaker has improved in the latest update:

  • The screenreaders Jaws, NVDA and Window-Eyes now announce each pane when it gets focus.
  • Keyboard navigation in the workspace and the Settings dialogue has improved. You can now use the TAB key to easily cycle between the different panes. See here for all additional shortcuts.

You can now also use Quick Access Keys to choose whether to show the Home Tab on start-up: press the ALT key to open the traditional Windows menu and go to Tools → Accessibility Options → Show Home Tab.

In the Accessibility Options you can also set the traditional Windows menu (the 'Alt menu') to always show. This will benefit users who primarily use the traditional Windows menu and Quick Access Keys when working in Audio Notetaker.
